New Wood Mallet

There is no leaving with the snow right now, so I figure I'm going to do something productive. The old wood mallet was getting a little worse for wear, and it seems like a good time to make a new one. Grabbed a piece of locust that I've been saving and chucked it up on the lathe. Bout an hour later and a little oil from the kitchen and it's almost done. Just have to clean up the ends a bit is all.

Chevy Tri Power

Got most of the pieces to put the intake on the 60 Ford truck. Most of the blue is gone, now to get rid of the orange paint.

Oil Tank For UnNESSessary

I haven't been able to find a Ness oil tank, so I made a pattern to fit the lines of the frame and cut the first piece out.

Schwinn Cycle Truck

Think I'll make this the shop bike.

Another Cover For UnNESSessary

Every cover I have has been plated, and this was the worst, so it lost a few fins. It still needs to go to the plater to have the rest of the chrome removed though.

Cycleone Frame

Now that I've got space again I may be able to finally build this bike. Spent about an hour just getting the old bearing of the springer.

ARD magneto Cover For UnNESSessary

Got this cover from my friend Tom Summers for the magneto on UnNESSessary. It was on his bike Snatch and the Fan Dancer that were both featured back in the eighties. Sweet engraving and gold plated.

The Eighties

These two Hondas were built by John Pope from Georgia back in 1976. He built the red one for himself and the Lavender one for his wife.
